Story Telling through bricks and builds
To enhance the completed Owl model, the story was developed with a base, perch and 'home'

To support the decision making process, many sets are 3-in-1 to encourage communication and understanding from the very start!
The Engineer Role!
Using the guide, the Engineer has to describe and explain pieces and their positions! No pointing!
Developing Understanding
Checking back how an instruction has been understood is a key skill in achieving goals together!

The Supplier has been very efficient here! Visually communicating their readiness to the task ahead!
Support and Trust
Taking turns and listening with patience
Roles and Goals!
During the session each role is adopted for 15 minutes then rotated - everyone has the opportunity to practice their skills and challenge their ideas
Building relationships
Gaining confidence to speak with new people and share in achievements together
Reassurance
Conversations and support build trust - we encourage and cheer each other on!
Accountability
Shared sustained thinking, understanding and communication - developing a sense of responsibility to your role and your team through play
Resilience
It can be tricky being the Builder! Is it the build, the words and descriptions or trying to visualise what the Engineer is looking at!
Enjoyment is key!
We learn best when we are having fun, we are open to practicing skills when this is through play!
